Inter midfielder Saphir Taider could be set for a return to the English Premier League with Watford interested in securing his signature.

The Algeria international is available for a summer move after being omitted from Roberto Mancini’s squad for the Nerazzurri’s pre-season tour of China.

Tuttosport reports that the newly promoted Premier League side is preparing to make another Serie A swoop after signing Roma’s Jose Holebas and Miguel Britos from Napoli.

The 23-year-old joined Southampton on a season-long loan from Inter last summer as part of the deal which also saw striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo move in the opposite direction.

However, the Saints terminated his move after less than a month citing that he failed to live up to expected levels of commitment.

Sassuolo have also been linked with a move to bring the midfielder back to the Mapei Stadium on a permanent deal after he was sent on loan to the Serie A side for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
