Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has admitted he would be interested in a move to Inter despite being linked to a spell in the MLS.
The 37-year-old forward has been without a club since the end of last season following the expiration of his contract at the English Premier League champions.
“To be honest I am not aware of such a situation. Inter are a great club and certainly, if they were to contact me, I would listen willingly to their proposal,” Drogba told fcinter1908.it.
“We are currently in talks regarding a move to the MLS. As for Inter, it could become a concrete option if indeed there was an interest in me.
It would not be a problem[playing alongside Icardi], in every team there are players to compete against for a place in the team.”
The former Galatasaray striker scored 104 goals for Chelsea during 252 appearances for the West London club over two separate periods in England.
