Ogbonna - JuventusJuventus will require €10 million if they are to part with centre-back Angelo Ogbonna after two seasons with the Serie A champions.

The 27-year-old defender joined from city rivals Torino in 2013 for €13m but has failed to establish himself as a first-choice centre-half at the Juventus Stadium, with the Old Lady now open to offers from clubs across Europe.

Leading the race to snap up the Italian international are English Premier League teams Everton and West Ham United, with the Hammers believed to be in pole position by La Gazzetta dello Sport. Embarrassingly, co-chairman David Gold mistook the defender for new signing Pedro Obiang when welcoming the former Sampdoria man to East London last month.

In his first season for the Bianconeri Ogbonna made 16 league appearances, a number which grew to 25 in the 2014/15 campaign. However many of these outings were against lesser opposition as Massimiliano Allegri rested key players during Juventus’ run to the Champions League final.
