Sevilla are set to step up their attempts to sign Juventus full-back Mauricio Isla.

The Rojiblancos have been linked with the Chile international for some time now but have had difficulties finalising a deal with the Bianocneri.

According to Sportmediaset, Sevilla are still interested in Isla and will increase their efforts to sign the player in the coming days. However, the 27-year-old’s impressive performances at the Copa America have increased his value according to the Nervionenses sporting director, Monchi.

Isla is not currently in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for next season and is also thought to want a move away from Turin.

The former Udinese man spent last season on loan at English Premier League side Queens Park Ranger’s making 26 league appearances but endured a difficult season as QPR were relegated.

Isla has made just 28 Serie A appearances for The Old Lady.
