OscarChelsea star Oscar remains first-choice to fulfil the playmaker role at Juventus, with Bayern Munich talent Mario Gotze also on the radar.

The Bianconeri have been chasing the 23-year-old Brazilian international for several weeks now, but have yet to reach a deal with the Blues, who appear reluctant to sell.

According to Tuttosport, Oscar is still the main objective for the Serie A champions in relation to the club’s revered number 10 shirt, despite Bayern superstar Gotze joining a fanciful list of alternatives including Real Madrid schemer Isco, Wolfsburg assist-maker Kevin De Bruyne and Argentine Nicolas Gaitan of Benfica.

However it is thought that there aren’t any negotiations underway for the German World Cup winner as yet, but that he will be monitored in case a move for the former Sao Paulo and Internacional player fails to materialise.

Oscar made 41 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last term, scoring seven goals.
