Juventus have taken yet another step in expanding their ever growing horizons after joining the major Chinese social networking site, Sina Weibo.

With the Bianconeri’s Asian fanbase rapidly growing, the club have reached out by launching an official profile on China’s most popular social network, which boastsĀ over 600 million users, a similar figure to that of fellow micro-blogging site Twitter.

The club revealed their new profile on their official club website, announcing exclusive materials and competitions dedicated to the growing community, where fans can send in photos showing their ‘Juve pride’ in order to win special prizes.

The launch comes ahead of Juventus’ appearance in Shanghai, where they will play Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana on August 8.
