Arturo Vidal has officially joined German side Bayern Munich from Juventus, penning a four year contract that will see him at the club until 2019.
The 28-year-old spent four years at the Bianconeri, picking up four consecutive Scudetti, as well as a runners-up medal in the 2014/15 Champions League.
”I’m very happy to be here,” stated Vidal.
”This is a new step in my career and I hope to do well.
”I want to help the team win and lift titles. For me it’s a dream come true.”
When asked about why he chose Bayern, he said: ”I wanted to make a big step in my career. I would like to develop as a player and win important trophies like the Champions League.”
”These are the possibilities with Bayern.
”And as for being back in the Bundesliga, I am very excited.
”With Bayer Leverkusen I did not fully succeed, so at Bayern I have a good chance of doing so.”
What a clusterf*** this summer has been. A total embarrassment.
