Serie A champions Juventus are intent on bolstering their midfield ranks with the imminent departure of Arturo Vidal all but official.

The Chilean midfielder is expected to move to German champions Bayern Munich for an estimated €40 million.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is currently in Germany, holding discussions with three Bundesliga sides.

Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich and Schalke will all hold talks with Paratici to disuss Kevin De Bruyne, Mario Gotze and Julian Draxler, respectively.

The 21-year-old Draxler remains the favourite to join the Champions League finalists due to strong contacts between Schalke and Juventus.

Bayern’s Mario Gotze is the Bianconeri’s second choice and positive relations exist between the two clubs due to the transfer of Vidal.

The German international’s price tag represents an obstacle for Juventus however, as does third option Kevin De Bruyne with the Belgian being valued higher than Gotze.
