Lulic set for Lazio exit

Lazio wing-back Senad Lulic is set to leave the club having failed to agree terms over a contract extension with the Roman side.

The Bosnian international joined the Biancocelesti in 2011 and his current deal doesn’t expire until June 2017.

However, Il Tempo have revealed that the 29-year-old has set out his demands for an extension which the club deem to be excessive.

The Aquile value the pacy wide player at €15 million and are expected to field offers amid interest from Bundesliga clubs: Borussia Moenchengladbach, Schalke 04 and Wolfsburg.

Lulic is a hero among the Lazio supporters having scored the winning goal against arch-rivals Roma, in the Coppa Italia final in 2013.

He has made 151 appearances for the Biancocelesti in all competetitions while earning forty-one caps for his national team.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has already allowed veteran stalwarts Cristian Ledesma and Stefano Mauri to leave the club as they continue to overhaul the squad in preperation for their Champions League campaign next season.
