Napoli midfielder Jorginho has said that new Partenopei coach Maurizio Sarri has clear tactical ideas and that his training sessions are intense.
The 23-year-old Brazilian-born midfielder struggled to find regular playing time under previous club tactician Rafa Benitez, but believes that the new season should go well under Sarri.
“He has clear ideas. He said to me what he thought, I said to him what I thought and there weren’t any problems,” Jorginho told Tuttonapoli.net. “I am sure that everything will go very well this year.
“It is very intense work [and] the workload is high enough but I think we will reap the benefits later. We are working well [and] we are on the right track.
“Personally I feel calm, and proud of my efforts [from last season]. I certainly would have liked to have been more involved more but good things have happened and you learn from everything.”
