allan udineseNapoli are on the verge of securing the signature of defensive midfielder Allan from Udinese.

The 24-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation linking him with a move away from the North East club, and a move to the Partenopei appears imminent.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Udinese have decided to part ways with the Brazilian, after agreeing to Napoli’s proposal which will see striker Duvan Zapata move in the opposite direction on a two-year loan.

Allan, whose contract was set to expire in June 2016, made over 100 appearances with the Zebrette, scoring two goals and laying on a further 14 assists.

Meanwhile, Uruguayan centre-back Miguel Britos is reportedly set to leave Maurizio Sarri’s side in a permanent transfer to newly promoted English Premier League minnows Watford – who are also owned by Udinese chairman Giampaolo Pozzo

The 29-year-old joined the Neapolitan team in 2011 from Bologna, but has since been unable to cement a regular starting role, featuring on 99 occasions in his four-year stay.
