Gonzalo Higuain NapoliNapoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is refusing to budge over his €95 million valuation of striker Gonzalo Higuain as Manchester City and Arsenal look to bring the Argentinian to England.

While new Partenopei coach Maurizio Sarri wants Higuain to spearhead his attack in the 2015/16 season, the speculation over his future persists thanks to Napoli’s inability to provide Champions League football, something which has agitated Higuain towards a departure.

Sports Mediaset report that Arsenal have made a €60m offer for the 27-year-old, but Manchester City are also in the hunt for Higuain, the Citizens believing that he represents a perfect replacement for Edin Dzeko should the Bosnian depart for Roma.

Nevertheless €95m remains to price tag on Higuain, who is currently on holiday following the 2015 Copa America that saw the former Real Madrid forward miss a penalty in the final shoot-out with Chile, much like he did on the final day of last season in the crunch match with Lazio.
