Napoli could make a move for Udinese defender Silvan Widmer in this transfer window.
The Partenopei are already very close to agreeing a deal with the Zebrette over midfielder Allan but could yet also launch raid on another prized asset as Azzurri head coach Maurizio Sarri is reportedly in need of defensive cover on the wings.
According to Il Messagero Veneto, Napoli are evaluating the possibility of making a bid for the Swiss full-back in order to strengthen their defence.
Widmer joined the Zebrette from Swiss side Aarau in the summer of 2013. The Udinese man has made almost 60 appearances in two seasons.
Last seasons he made 38 appearances to help the Zebrette to finish in a lowly 16th position, seven points above relegated Cagliari.
