English Premier League side Norwich City reportedly want to sign Cesena striker Gregoire Defrel.
The top-flight new boys are after some new players to improve their chances of avoiding relegation next season and they look set to bid for Defrel’s signature in an attempt to make him their third new signing of the summer.
Corriere dello Sport have reported that the Canaries could offer the Cavallucci Marini €6.5 million for the 24-year-old.
Defrel was previously linked with a potential move to Palermo but the transfer never materialised.
Since then, numerous Serie A teams have shown interest in the Frenchman, with the likes of Sassuolo, Torino, Sampdoria, Genoa and Bologna all keen on obtaining the striker’s signature.
The player joined Cesena in the summer of 2012 from Parma and has since gone on to make 106 appearances, scoring 16 times.
