Spanish side Real Madrid have reportedly discussed the terms of a contract offer with current Juventus player Arturo Vidal.
The combative midfielder returned from injury last season to help the Bianconeri win a domestic double as well as reach the Champions League final where they eventually lost 3-1 to Barcelona.
According to Spanish daily Sport, Los Merengues met with Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich only a few days ago to agree his weekly wage structure in a potential five year deal.
Madrid will now need to convince the Serie A side to sell one of their stars and agree a potential transfer fee which should be around the €30 million mark.
The 28-year-old Chile international has been in Turin since 2011, making 124 league appearances and scoring 35 goals after his arrival from German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
