Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva says he is ‘flattered’ by apparent interest from Fiorentina.

The 22-year-old Brazilian youth international joined the Spanish giants from Cruzeiro in January, but failed to find much space under Carlo Ancelotti.

Reports suggest that he may be offloaded, either on loan or permanently, by new boss Rafa Benitez, with the Viola one of the teams mentioned as a possible destination.

“If I were to leave Real Madrid, where I do not have much space, I want it to be for a great team,” Silva told Marca.

“For this I am very flattered by the interest of Porto, Fiorentina and Sevilla. They are all important clubs, and proof that I have done well with Real.”Silva only made nine appearances, mostly as a substitute, for Real last season.
