Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has sparked anger amongst the Spanish press after asking for Roma legend Francesco Totti’s autograph.
The Welshman asked Roma’s team manager for the veteran’s autograph after his side lost to the Giallorossi 7-6 on penalties following a 0-0 draw in the International Champions Cup in Australia.

The winger came under fire from critics last season for his below par performances and now Spanish newspaper AS have claimed he has little personality.
AS went on to slate Bale by saying he had a lacklustre performance against Roma and also indirectly criticised Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez for saying that Bale is the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The paper, meanwhile, praised the Portuguese international as a highly confident individual who would not see anyone in the world as better than him.
