Roma are close to securing the services of Brescia midfielder Ismail H’Maidat.
The 20-year-old Dutch attacking midfielder joined the Biancoazzurri from Anderlecht, having spent time in England with Crystal Palace before linking up with the Belgian club.
According to Bresciaoggi.it, the player has already reached a verbal agreement with the Giallorossi and informed the Brescia hierarchy of his desire to leave the club to experience the next level of the game in Italy.
The agreement between both parties is yet to be finalised, with the Leonessa asking for a fee in the region of €3 million. The previous good relations between the two clubs bodes well for the talented youngster as the deal is expected to be completed before the start of the new season.
H’Maidat made 30 appearances in Serie B last season, scoring one goal.
