Roma are set to meet with Manchester City in the coming days as the Giallorossi continue their pursuit for striker Edin Dzeko.

The three-time Bosnian Footballer of the Year has scored over 50 goals for the Citizens but it seems as though his time at the club is coming to an end, with the capital club keen to land a star centre forward for coach Rudi Garcia.

Sky Sport Italia report that with Roma having already reportedly agreed to personal terms with Dzeko, sporting director Walter Sabatini will meet with directors from the English club over the coming days to discuss a move for the 29-year-old.

With the Lupi also focused on the sale of striker Mattia Destro to Monaco, the two sides could opt to hold off on meetings until next week ahead of their International Champions Cup match in Australia on July 24.

Should Roma and Manchester City fail to reach an agreement over Dzeko’s valuation, Anderlecht’s Alexandar Mitrovic is believed to be next on Roma’s list of potential signings.
