Roma have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain’s Gregory van der Wiel as the French club indicated that they would consider offers for the right-back.

With only a year left on his contract, the Ligue 1 champions may choose to cash in on the Dutchman rather than allow him to leave for free next summer and will entertain offers from the Giallorossi.

SportItalia report that negotiations between the two clubs will continue over the coming days, with PSG deeming the former Ajax man far from unsellable.

It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach a satisfactory agreement, though van der Wiel is thought to be open to the idea of a move to Roma.

The Serie A runners up are in the market for a new right-back as speculation persists over the futures of Maicon and Vasilis Torosidis, particularly with the former’s recent injury worries.
