A promotional video displayed how a hidden microchip underneath the badge can be pressed to launch the likes of Luis Muriel, Eder, Alfred Duncan and Joaquin Correa into song when fans need motivation in everyday life.

The video shows Samp players singing in the Gradinata Sud to cheer on a diehard fan struggling to come to terms with a thinning hairline.

“You support them but at times they should be there to support you,” reads the narrator in the advert for the singing Sampdoria shirt.

“After lots of time by the side of your team encouraging them, it is time for the team to encourage you.

“Because you also have difficult games, this year the new Sampdoria match kit will be able to give back what you have given to the club.

“When you need help, press the badge and leave it to the players to support you in the way that you have always encouraged them.

“Joma, respect for Sampdoria, respect for sport.”
