Serie A side Lazio are set to miss out on Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie, who is reportedly set to join English side Southampton.
The Aquile have been reasonably active so far this summer having already purchased Wesley Hoedt from AZ Alkmaar and Spaniard Patric from Barcelona B. The Biancocelesti have also been linked with Fabio Borini of Liverpool.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Rome-based outfit are going to miss out on one of their key targets, as Clasie is set to reunite with his old Feyenoord boss Ronald Koeman at the Saints.
The Dutch midfielder is expected to sign his new four year contract on Wednesday.
Clasie was a key figure for the Trots van Zuid last season, making 33 Eredivisie appearances throughout the campaign.
