Emmanuel Badu Matias Vecino Udinese EmpoliEnglish outfit Stoke City are keen on signing Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu this summer.

The 24-year-old Ghanian international has enjoyed another fine season in the heart of midfield for the Friuli outfit, but could leave the club in the coming weeks.

The Daily Mail suggest that Stoke have identified Badu as a potential replacement for Steven N’Zonzi, who himself looks set to quit the club  for Sevilla.

The Potters believe a fee of around €5.6 million would be enough to convince Udinese to sell, considering Badu only has a year left to run on his current deal.

Badu, who has been at the club since 2010, made 27 league appearances for Udinese this season, netting a solitary goal.
