Juventus legend Marco Tardelli believes that the side’s departures during this transfer window have been justified.
The Bianconeri have so far transferred Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo out of Turin, and with Arturo Vidal widely expected to follow, Tardelli can see why Juventus are taking this approach.
“It is clear that the Bianconeri are losing an important player,” admitted the Italian to TuttoMercatoWeb.com.
“But, with the money you can cash from it, you will find it is equally valid.
“A player can leave by sometimes questionable behaviour, that Juventus do not like very much.”
Vidal was summoned to a court in Chile last month to face charges for drunk driving, after he escaped with only minor injuries in a car crash.
“It’s a loss in addition to Tevez and Pirlo but obviously there have been good reasons, maybe even for the money that has been collected.
“Juventus are a great club and after good times have been able to change and get excellent results, the team remains strong.”
