Udinese have completed the signing of Granada midfielder Manuel Iturra.
The Chilean joins the Zebrette from the Spanish club who along with newly promoted Premier League club Watford, are also owned by the Pozzo family. Iturra is the Bianconeri’s second signing of the day after Duvan Zapata joined on a two-year loan from Napoli.
The deal which was announced via Granada’s official website, sees the Chilean international become one of his many countrymen to play for the Udine based club after Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez.
Iturra was involved in a relegation fight last season as Granada finished 17th in La Liga, and he’ll be hoping for better fortunes with the Zebrette this season. The ex-Malaga man was an important figure for El Grana in their eventual survival, making 30 La liga appearances.
