AC Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is keen on adding Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli to his squad this summer.

This follows the sensational news that the Rossoneri are plotting a loan move to bring the forward back to Italy.

According to Sky Sport Italia the latest development has been approval of coach Sinisa Mihajlovic regarding the move.

Mihajlovic was assistant coach to Roberto Mancini at Inter, where he coached Balotelli for the very first time.

The deal is thought to be a free loan, with Liverpool prepared to pay a portion of the 25 year-old’s wages.

Balotelli is keen on a return, bringing him closer to his family after the passing of his adoptive father.

A decision will be made by owner Silvio Berlusconi, who previously labelled Balotelli a ‘bad apple’.
