AC Milan have drawn up a peculiar list of behavioural rules for new signing Mario Balotelli, following the striker’s return to the club after a season of misfortune at Premier League side Liverpool.
The 25-year-old has rejoined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan, and coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is determined to make it clear to the often troublesome forward that he will not tolerate any transgressions.
As reported by Gazzetta World, Mihajlovic and vice-president Adriano Galliani added the rules as additional clauses in the Italian’s contract in an attempt to ensure he avoids making headlines for the wrong reasons.
The rather unorthodox list of clauses is as follows:
- He must stop smoking.
- He must never be late for training.
- He has agreed to consume less alcohol and is forbidden from going to nightclubs.
- He must tone down his ‘extravagant’ hairstyles, and dress in a way which is in keeping to the style of AC Milan.
- He will not damage the club via social media, and his personal Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts will be monitored closely by the club.
Should the Italian break any of the above rules, he will be hit with a financial penalty and will likely face the wrath of Mihajlovic.
