Bologna coach Delio Rossi remains hopeful that the Rossoblu will bring in a striker before the end of the transfer window and is dreaming of Karim Benzema.

A number of high profile forwards have been linked with a move to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, as the newly promoted side look to add to a weak looking forward line.

Delio Rossi joked with Corriere Dello Sport reporters after being quizzed about some of those names; Alessandro Diamanti, Mattia Destro, Abel Hernandez and Josip Ilicic.

“We are talking about players from other teams,” he quipped, “at this point, you could also mention Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain. I would choose Benzema for my ideal team.”

Bologna look set to start the season with Daniele Cacia and Robert Acquafresca as their leading forwards with Rolando Bianchi and Matteo Mancosu backing them up.
