Hellas Verona sporting director Riccardo Bigon has expressed his excitement to see his side perform in their third consecutive Serie A season with a host of new players.
The Mastini have been bolstered by the likes of Giampaolo Pazzini, Federico Viviani, and a loan deal for Sport Club Internacional’s Claudio Winck during a busy summer transfer window.
“I have great confidence in this group,” Bigon told Sky Sport Italia.
‘The interpersonal relationships created during our negotiations has helped achieve our goals for the upcoming season.”
Bigon continued with insight on a rumoured transfer deal for Napoli to sign Gialloblu midfielder Jacopo Sala.
“I have not had any official contact yet,” said Bigon.
“The interest has never been externalized from any of the club’s official channels. As far as I know he is not a target for Napoli.”
