Bologna have made an offer for Inter’s Saphir Taider to take him on loan with the option to make a concrete transfer after a year.

The Algerian spent last year on loan at Sassuolo where he managed 2 goals and 18 appearances for the Emilia-Romagna side, but his future at Inter looks uncertain as he faces stiff competition for a place in a team which boasts a midfield with names like Geoffrey Kondogbia and Mateo Kovacic.

Il Corriere di Bologna have reported that despite the ex-Sassuolo man’s desire to stay at the Stadio Meazza, he has no place in Mancini’s side and the Rossoblu are currently in the lead to sign him having put forward the best offer as it stands.

The following days will decide the future of a player who has made 25 appearances in his time with the Nerazzurri, while also claiming 24 caps for his national team Algeria.
