Henrique - NapoliNapoli defender Henrique is expected to leave the Serie A club in the near future, with three Brazilian outfits reportedly in pursuit.

The Partenopei are looking to create more space in the defensive area of their squad to open the way for the imminent arrival of another centre-back, who is believed to be Torino stopper Nikola Maksimovic.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Brazilian trio Cruzeiro, Palmeiras and Gremio have all come forward with proposals for the 28-year-old’s services over recent days.

Gremio could quickly assume the role of favourites for his signature, as the Azzurri may decide to use Henrique as a bargaining chip in part-exchange for the Porto Alegre club’s defensive midfielder Walace.

Henrique made 38 appearances in all competitions for Napoli, scoring twice, but struggled for regular game-time last term leaving him surplus to requirements.
