Ismail H'Maidat BresciaBrescia have been called back up to the Serie B for the upcoming campaign to replace the financially-stricken Parma.

The Rondinelle finished in 21st place in the Serie B standings last season and were consequentially relegated, but the unfortunate situation of Parma, who are now in Serie D, have handed Brescia a lifeline in the second tier.

The changes were officially announced by the FIGC on Tuesday, as Brescia beat out Lecce and Cittadella for the coveted spot back into the Serie B.

Albinoleffe and Pordenone have also been pulled up to replace bankrupt sides in Lega Pro, after several teams in the second and third tier failed to register because of financial difficulties.
