Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez has said his side played a good game against Chelsea.
The Viola defeated the English Premier League side 1-0 on Wednesday night in the International Champions Cup at Stamford Bridge which Suarez has said was a good game and ideal preparation for the new season.
“Approaching the beginning of the Serie A season, we are working hard,” the 28-year-old tweeted.
“Great victory last night!”
The Italians beat Barcelona 2-1 to give them a confidence-boosting victory, with defender Gonzalo Rodriguez getting the winning goal.
Fiorentina begin their 2015-16 Serie A campaign at home to AC Milan on August 23.
