Fiorentina are interested in acquiring Cagliari’s Godfred Donsah.
The Ghanaian has impressed many in Italy with his composed displays in the centre of midfield during his breakthrough season.
According to Tuttosport, the Viola are keen on strengthening their midfield by bringing in Donsah, however they may face competition from champions Juventus and recently promoted side Bologna.
The 19 year-old made 21 appearances for Cagliari last season, scoring two goals in the process, but was unable to halt the Rossoblu’s relegation to Serie B.
Donsah moved to Italy in 2012 following trials at Roma, however he was snapped by Palermo.
He failed to make an appearance for the Rosanero and eventually moved to Cagliari in 2014.
