Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has praised new signing Paulo Dybala.

The 21-year-old joined the Bianconeri this summer from Palermo and scored in their 2-0 victory over Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana and Moggi believes he could be the perfect replacement for Carlos Tevez, who left for Boca Juniors.

“I see Juventus as a team which is always at the top and difficult to catch, they are always favourites in Italy,” he told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“The team has been rejuvenated, it was inevitable that Andrea Pirlo would leave and they will miss Carlos Tevez’s goals, but I think Dybala is a great signing.

“I think that he could offer more than many other strikers could.”

The Argentine starlet is expected to have a bright future after scoring 21 goals in 93 games for Palermo during his time in Sicily.
