Hellas Verona’s Jacopo Sala has reportedly rejected a transfer to Napoli in favour of a move to Inter who are also interested in signing the 23-year-old.
The Partenopei have been linked with Sala for some time however it is understood that the Italian would prefer a move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Sport Mediaset report that Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini has not been convinced with new signing Martin Montoya in pre-season and would like to bring in Sala as an alternative in the right wing-back position.
Sala joined the Gialloblu in July 2013 from Bundesliga side Hamburg and in two seasons has made 31 Serie A appearances, scoring three goals.
Prior to his time in Germany the Bergamo-born player spent his youth career with Atalanta and English Premier League side Chelsea.
