Xherdan Shaqiri is set to join Stoke City from Inter after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical at the English side.

The 23-year-old was spotted at the Potters’ Premier League opener against Liverpool and is now on the verge of joining Stoke.

According to The Guardian, Shaqiri is set to move to Stoke in a deal worth around €17 million which would be a record fee for the side from Staffordshire.

The deal has not been confirmed yet, however, as Bayern Munich are still to agree to deal given they are due money from Inter’s sale of the winger.

Shaqiri made 15 appearances for Inter during the 2014-15 season and scored one goal.
