Hellas Verona winger Bosko Jankovic has revealed that his team will be looking to redeem their previous 5-2 loss to Genoa when the two sides clash on Sunday.

The 31-year-old, who played for the Grifone for five years before joining the Gialloblu in 2013, admits that he still feels many emotions before facing his former club but insists that the Mastini have been preparing the best they can to secure a positive result.

Jankovic spoke during a pre-match press conference about the upcoming battle with Genoa and commented on which Hellas Verona has impressed him most as of late.

“We are preparing well for Sunday’s game against Genoa, we have a great desire for redemption following last season’s 5-2 loss,” said the Serbian.

“For me, it will be a thrill to return to Genoa. I have five years of wonderful memories there and I can’t wait to play.

“This is my year? I don’t know, I just know that I’m available to the team. Out of the new players, Samuel Souprayen has impressed me the most.”
