Eduardo Espejo, the agent of Fiorentina winger Joaquin has said the club must resolve the Spaniard’s future soon.
Joaquin has been requesting a move to his boyhood club Real Betis all summer but has been frustrated by the Viola for setting an asking price of €5 million for him, which Betis will not pay.
“Fiorentina have their own reasons and I do not want to go into the merits of them,” said Espejo to Cadena Cope Sevilla.
“I’m just saying that my obligation is to defend the interests of the player.
“I came to Florence to unlock a complicated issue because Joaquin is not only a player, but a person who always leaves a mark.”
The agent then put pressure on the Gigliati to sort the situation out.
“Now, however, Joaquin can not do more than he has already done, the deal is only between the clubs and we will not put additional pressure on,” said Espejo.
“Only moving to Betis will fulfill the desire of Joaquin.”
