Alvaro Morata will miss the Supercoppa Italiana against Lazio in Shanghai due to injury.
The Spaniard joined Juve from Real Madrid last summer but Morata is set to miss the next month.
“After completing tests it can be confirmed that Morata will miss the Supercoppa.” Juventus said in an official statement.
“He has torn the soleus muscle in his left calf.
“He will now miss the next 30 days.”
It is a blow for Juventus after both Sami Khedira and Andrea Barazgli were also ruled out due to injury.
