Lamela - TottenhamSerie A champions Juventus are rumoured to be interested in Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela and Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado, as well as Schalke’s Julian Draxler.

The Bianconeri have been linked with a plethora of players to occupy a trequartista role in the side, as coach Massimiliano Allegri looks to win the club’s fifth consecutive Scudetto.

The front page of Monday’s Tuttosport supported Juventus’ pursuit of Draxler, claiming that the German international’s arrival would cap an altogether successful summer for the Turin club, the publication also linked the club with a move for Chelsea flop and former Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.

21-year-old Draxler has been a regular starter for Schalke since the 2011-12 season, scoring 16 goals and setting up 15 more.

Regarding the Colombian, it is thought that sporting director Giuseppe Marrota would prefer a loan deal to assess how well Cuadrado would fit in at Juventus before a permanent deal is reached.

Meanwhile, La Stampa corroborates the reports that Juventus are in for Draxler while also suggesting that Tottenham have offered Argentine winger Erik Lamela.

Tottenham balked at Juventus’ initial inquiry for their star playmaker Christian Eriksen but seemed eager to offload Lamela, as the Argentine has failed to live up to the £25.8 million paid to Roma for his services in 2013.
