Juventus have reportedly offered out of favour defender Paolo De Ceglie to Sampdoria following the signing of Alex Sandro from Porto.

The 28-year-old, whose current contract with the Bianconeri is set to expire in June 2017, spent half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Parma before returning to the Old Lady in January and failed to earn much of a place in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad, which has seen him linked with a possible move away from the reigning Serie A champions this summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus have offered to sell the Italian to Sampdoria in order to help him secure more playing time for the 2015-16 season, with the Blucerchiati possibly willing to sign the left back on a season-long loan with an option to buy him in the future.

De Ceglie scored three goals during his 13 Serie A appearances last term, scoring all three of his goals in his 11 league appearances for the Crociati during the first half of the campaign.
