Juventus ready to present new offer for Schalke starlet

Juventus are preparing a second bid for Schalke star Julian Draxler following the rejection of their previous offer.

The Bianconeri have been keen on the German play-maker since the departure of key stars Carlos Tevez, Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo.

According to Tuttosport, the Turin outfit will make an improved bid for the 21-year-old, working closely with the player’s agent who has been pushing for the move.

The Germans are requesting a fee between €30 million and €35 million for the Germany internationa,l who debuted for the side at the age of 17.

The Serie A champions were also considering fellow Bundesliga midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Mario Gotze but have decided to focus on the Schalke player.

Juventus have had scouts present at the side’s recent games, evaluating Draxler’s fitness after he missed close to 20 game last season through injury.
