Juventus could make a swoop for Inter midfielder and Colombian international Fredy Guarin.

The Bianconeri are in need of midfield strength following the departures of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, but have also suffered an early blow through the injury of Sami Khedira during a pre-season friendly against Olympique Marseille.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus want to bring in their former transfer target Guarin to boost their midfield reinforcements, but will need to wait to see if the Nerazzurri are open to the move.

Guarin had originally been linked with Juventus during his rise to fame with FC Porto, and later nearly became involved in a swap deal between Juventus and Inter that included Mirko Vucinic in January 2014.

The 29-year-old has played 92 matches and scored 14 goals with Inter since joining the club in 2012.
