Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta thinks that a deal with Juan Cuadrado will be completed soon.

The Bianconeri have had a busy summer and lots of changes have been made to their squad with more players rumoured to be joining Massimiliano Allegri’s men, including Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado which Marotta thinks will be confirmed soon.

“Cuadrado could become official [on Monday] but we will wait,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“He will arrive on loan.”

The 58-year-old then moved on to talk about Schalke player Julian Draxler who has also been linked with the Italians and didn’t rule out a move just yet.

“He is unlikely to join us, although the market is open until August 31.”

On the summer transfer window overall for La Vecchia Signora, Marotta said that, due to the many changes that have taken place, it is difficult to tell if they will be as successful as last season.

“We need to sort out our structure in a different way, I don’t know if this team is stronger than last year.”
