The Italian champions have been chasing the Bayern Munich midfielder all summer but have been unable to complete a deal for the German world cup winner and now the FA cup holders could land Gotze.
According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are ready to launch a bid for Gotze in the hope of bringing him to north London.
At this stage, however, it is uncertain whether Gotze would be willing to move to the club.
Fellow English side Manchester City are also interested in the German international.
Juventus have other targets should they fail to land Gotze.
Erik Lamela of Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid’s Isco are just two names that have been linked with the Italian champions.
