Juventus are reportedly interested in making a move for Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Erik Lamela.

The 23-year-old was acquired by the North London outfit from Roma in 2013, but has largely struggled for consistency during his time in the Premier League.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lamela could be tempted to end his nightmare spell with Spurs in favour of a return to Serie A to join reigning Scudetto holders Juventus.

Reports suggest that the Bianconeri are keen to take the Argentine international on loan with the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, the Italians are also optimistic it can secure the services of Julian Draxler from Schalke, before the closing of the summer transfer window.

It is reported the club’s sporting director Giuseppe Marotta offered a sum of €18 million for the German winger, but the Royal Blues are holding out for €30 million.
