Julian DraxlerSchalke’s sporting director Horst Heldt has said that there is “nothing new” regarding a deal between Juventus and themselves, for midfielder Julian Draxler.

The Bianconeri have attempted to replace the creativity lost from the sales of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo, and as such have touted the German international as their number one replacement.

“There is nothing new,” Heldt said speaking at a press conference. “A deal is still possible, in the next few days there could be more contact, because the market has entered its final week.”

The German also mentioned that former AC Milan player Kevin-Prince Boateng could be on the move, but failed to reveal any possible destination.

“Boateng? He could also leave, there are some offers that we are carefully considering for him.”
