AC Milan announced on Tuesday the kit numbers which their players will wear during the upcoming Serie A campaign, which kicks off in less than two weeks.

In comparison to last season, the list features number changes of returning players in all positions as well as some exciting assignments when it comes to newly signed players that were acquired this summer to help the Rossoneri back to greatness.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Milan’s latest arrival, Alessio Romagnoli from Roma, will wear the ominous No.13 in his debut season at the San Siro after Frenchman Adil Rami left the club without making a significant impact in the shirt once worn by Alessandro Nesta.

Another big signing, Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar Donetsk, was assigned the No.9 shirt – formerly worn by legends Filippo Inzaghi, Marco van Basten, and George Weah – and will hope to bring back the glory to it after Fernando Torres and Mattia Destro’s unsuccessful attempts.

Fellow newcomers Jose Mauri, Carlos Bacca, and Andrea Bertolacci will wears numbers 4, 70, and 91, respectively.

In goal, Diego Lopez, who made 28 Serie A appearances last season and registered five clean sheets, will claim the classic No. 1 shirt at the expense of Michael Agazzi.
