Premier League side Leicester City have completed the signing of midfielder Gokhan Inler from Serie A’s Napoli.
The move has been in the works for quite some time now, with new Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri being keen to bring the former Partenopei midfielder to the King Power Stadium.
The club confirmed the signing in a statement on Wednesday through their official website, lcfc.com.
The 31-year-old Swiss international has joined the club on a three-year contract, subject to Premier League, FA, and international clearance.
Inler had spent eight years in Italy having initially joined Udinese in 2007, he then moved to the Stadio San Paolo in 2011 where he spent the last four years.
The former Partenopei player will wear the No.33 shirt at his new club.
